Mr. Patient Byiringiro
Mr. Patient Byiringiro is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of GAH Ltd, having joined the company in June 2025. A results-oriented finance professional, he brings over eight years of high-impact experience in public financial management, audit and assurance, corporate governance, risk management, and financial strategy. As CFO, he leads GAH Ltd’s financial planning and reporting, risk oversight, investment strategies, and stakeholder engagement to support the company’s long-term sustainability and growth.
With strong command of national financial systems, project finance, and institutional performance management, Patient is committed to enhancing financial performance, fostering transparency, and aligning financial systems with the company’s strategic ambitions.
Prior to joining GAH Ltd, Patient served as a Senior Consultant in PwC Rwanda’s Government and Public Sector practice, where he advised numerous public institutions and international organizations on financial reforms, governance frameworks, capacity building, and regulatory compliance. His contributions were instrumental in supporting Rwanda’s transition to becoming IPSAS compliant and enhancing financial accountability systems across key sectors.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Université Libre de Kigali. He is also a Certified Enterprise Risk Manager (CERM). Beyond his corporate role, Patient is a columnist for The New Times, where he writes about Rwanda’s development reforms, public finance, and governance. He is also an active member of the International Consortium on Governmental Financial Management (ICGFM) program committee
